Animals of the Maremma
In the Maremma we are fortunate, because we can observe every day animals that elsewhere are already extinct. The drawing is simply inspired by beauty and portrays only some of the most fascinating and representative ones – but many others are missing. A larger frame would be needed, one able to embrace millions of living beings.

toad, turtle, viper, hoopoe, bee-eater, whimbrel, robin, woodpecker, swallow, owl, falcon, heron, pheasant, squirrel, hare, porcupine, roe deer, wild boar, Maremman cow, horse, marten, badger, fox, wolf, and others.

Animali di Maremma
In Maremma siamo fortunati, perché possiamo osservare quotidianamente animali che altrove sono già estinti. Il disegno è ispirato semplicemente alla bellezza e ritrae solo alcuni tra i più suggestivi e rappresentativi - ma molti altri mancano. Servirebbe una cornice più ampia, in grado di accogliere milioni di esseri viventi.

Tiere der Maremma
In der Maremma haben wir Glück, denn wir können täglich Tiere beobachten, die anderswo bereits ausgestorben sind. Die Zeichnung ist schlicht von der Schönheit inspiriert und zeigt nur einige der eindrucksvollsten und repräsentativsten – doch viele andere fehlen. Man bräuchte einen größeren Rahmen, der Millionen von Lebewesen aufnehmen könnte.
